Tennis League Network runs the original ever League National Tourney

Waltham, MA- The first yearly National tourney of the Tennis League Network (TLN), which sponsors local web based tennis communities in 34 US cities, was a large success, says TLN CEO Steve Chagnan. Held Nov. 6-8 at Crandon Tennis Center in Miami, FL, The event, played on hard courts, attracted 31 tennis participants of all tennis ablilites– all of them winners in their respective local TLN leagues.

Orlando Tennis, Charlotte Tennis, Seattle Tennis

The tournament surpassed my wildest expectations. The facility and Miami weather were perfect, and the tennis participants were sociable and enthusiastic, said Chagnan. Tennis participants who won their respective season tournaments local seasons got free entrance into the tournament.

The individual cities seasons under the TLN network of city leagues serve to link local, dedicated tennis players who want to play a lot of tennis. Our team make sure that players are attached with closely-matched tennis partners. Matches are played predominantly on public courts. It has been a extremely successful program, Chagnan said. Since 2006, there have been more than 42,700 matches played; 2009 saw a 51% increase.

After many years of determining local winners, the conception of the USA tourney was concocted to give these players a whole new level of involvement. Today we get to learn who really has the greatest players; Chicago, Orange County, Austin or maybe a tennis player from a minute franchise like Baltimore. At the very least it will be a whole lot of tennis with some great early Nov. weather.

Registration starts Jan. 1st for the 2010 season for TLNs 33 web based communities, which are dedicated to bringing together local tennis tennis participants of every skill level — from beginners to advanced– who desire to participate in a lot of singles tennis matches and make new friends. We make sure that both men and women are associated with tennis partners of similar tennis ablilites, says Chagnan.
