February 17th, 2010

Renowned Intellius Inc co-founder and chief executive officer Naveen Jain and wife Anu, actively take part in various community giving causes. For the couple, contributing to a unique set of nonprofit groups is among their main priorities. The groups that they donate to are focused on medical care, family, youth and education concerns.

Thus, the Jains and Intelius Incorporated have continuously rendered their services to the Overlake Service League (OSL), an organization devoted to support families that reside within the Bellevue School District. As one of its primary and prominent patrons, the online company earned awards in the aid group’s 10th Annual “Step up to the Plate” Benefit Luncheon last March 16th 2009. Both Anu and Naveen Jain were honorary chairs of the event.

Overlake Service League’s fundraising and development director, Trish Carpenter, explained how the Jains and their company became an example for the OSL community because of their leadership efforts. She said that the couple, under the company, has provided generous donations in service to families who were less fortunate.

Carpenter added that she, on behalf of the Overlake Service League team, believed the example the Jains and Intelius Inc practice would influence other individuals and companies to share the same compassion for philanthropy.

Since the inception of the company in January of 2003, Naveen Jain has instilled a strong business presence linking to social responsibility. Last year, 2008, he and his wife, who acts as the company’s vice president for community relations, remarkably advanced their business’ record of community giving. Their total amount of funds offered to various nonlocal and local nonprofits added up to about $210,000. Their personal donations have reached approximately $480,000.

According to Anu Jain, she and her husband are enthusiastic about contributing to the community. She said that it is their duty to commit their time to the less fortunate and at the same time, encourage others to follow.
