Find Some of the Most Popular Selling Toys for this Christmas Period

October 11th, 2009

Christmas day is a very exciting time for kids; they have heard the astonishing stories of Santa and the reindeers and the special day of the 25th of December. In the build up, young ones are on toy sites and in shopping catalogues searching high and low for the most recent board game for them to place at the top of their shopping list. At their school and nursery the number one discussion is what board game they will be asking Santa and if he will give them lots more action figures than their friends.

Every Xmas the toy market researchers and toy websites start making their forecasts about what toy will show themselves as the number one biggest seller for that Xmas period. In past years Britain have noticed the Nintendo DS and the Furbies coming in at the top. Get children thinking with their brain with Puzzles.

One of the popular action figuers is from the tremendous Ben 10 toy range. Ben 10 is a children’s programme from the States and is about a young child called Ben who unearths an astonishingly magical alien wrist watch device that holds itself onto Ben’s wrist and delivers him with superb alien powers. With his extra ordinary powers, Ben helps others when they need it as well as create some fun mischief with his little cousin Gwen. With the wonderful success of the kids tv show, a large range of wonderful children’s toys have been created, these include figures and dvd games.

Another fashionable seller this Xmas will be children’s board games, one of the most world famous being Monopoly. Majorly based on the economic concept of an organisation owning everything, Monopoly is a marvellous adult and children’s board game that is really popular that over 750 million people have played Monopoly. In its terrific 100 year lifespan, Monopoly has seen it move into an online website game, games console format and even an iPhone game.

Whilst best selling predictions are important to the market the real sales numbers will tell us what action figure was the greatest seller this Xmas time.
