Parking sensors avoid accidents.

August 20th, 2009

Prime importance of parking sensors is to avoid accidents. Any object close to your car is detected by these sensors and an alarm is triggered. The nearer the object approaches the stronger the alarm grows thereby proving its utility in tight parking spots.

The sensors used in Toyota and Lexus, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) detect and indicate the distance of an object also. These car sensors displays through LCD screen the object and as you get closer the object expands. Most of the car owners are well familiar with the importance of parking sensors. These are important for those who have limited vision, particularly, during bad weather, provided these are purchased from reliable manufacturers. Car parking sensors avoid accident and thus save your money which otherwise you would have to spend on repair or to lose badly to your insurance company when you will be denied payment of damage. Car parking sensors are available with variations. The most common of the sensors is the front-rear parking sensors that are placed at the front rear bumpers of the car.

Ultrasonic parking sensors use waves to measure the distance of an object to your car. There is electromagnetic sensor that creates electromagnetic field to detect hurdles to your vehicle. Some electromagnetic sensors do not require holes to be done into your vehicles and can be simply installed into the baggage compartment of your car.
